Industrial Beauty
My husband has an aversion to the type of behavior that these shots require. While driving, he doesn't like stopping short, making u-turns, or even slightly entering upon private property. And who can blame him? But still, reason doesn't always prevail when I see such things, and sometimes I just let the lens enter where my feet cannot.

Decay
I heard about this cool old building that is highly protected with fences and cameras ... and I couldn't resist the urge to get as close as possible to shoot it. And who doesn't love a mystery? Why the protection? Is it still manufacturing things? What does or did it make? So many questions ...

Glorious Weekend
Wasn't it a glorious weekend? I mean, yes, it was pretty hot for a May weekend, but still. And if the rest of summer proves half as packed with fun and interesting things to do, it promises to be a rather satisfying summer all around. We went to the soft opening of Vito's, where the charming proprietor, Mike Shaw, gave us a tour of some really delightful wines worth collecting and having on hand just in case. We visited a wildflower prairie cemetery in Plain City where I got some fun shots. We went to the Black Belt party of a dear friend. We enjoyed some outdoor time with friends and family. Does it get any better than this?
