I went hunting tonight, for images that might move me beyond the prettiness of Spring. There's something beautiful that happens when time has been permitted to make its mark, where flaws give something rich character, don't you think?

I'm focused on some neglected work and planning for future projects, so I've got no special themes to explore tonight. Except that I'm really into this right now.

More Pretty

Okay, so not strictly pretty, but still. Everything is coming alive all at once. I wonder, how would you describe Spring to someone who had never experienced it?

Pretty

I've been taking a lot of "pretty" pictures lately {sigh}, so I thought I could actually make them more interesting by making them square. I don't know what's gotten into me. Let me make a public declaration; there's nothing wrong with "pretty." It just falls a little short of being beautiful, which can be quite a lofty goal, and what can I say? Spring is pretty!

Also, I just got a copy of this in the mail and can't wait to dig into it!
