Purity. Life. Rebirth. Depending on what mythology you go to, water has many meanings. The Taoists have water meaning widsom. For the Ancient Greeks, it was a symbol of transition. I remember as a child having nightmares of drowning. But as an adult, I've had a Swedish massage, with that bar of shower heads coming over me, and, with the scent of eucalyptus washing over me, I've never felt so blissfully wet in my life.
